Moozix Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 6, 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how Moozix LLC ("Moozix", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information from users ("you" or "your") when you use the Moozix.com website and any related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
We collect several types of information from and about users of our Service, including:
- Information You Provide Directly: When you create an account or use the Service, you may provide personal information such as your name, email address, account login credentials, and payment information (if you purchase credits or subscriptions). You may also provide content such as photos, audio, or other media that you upload to use with the Service.
- User Content and Generated Content: We collect any content you upload to the Service (e.g., images, audio files) as well as the AI-generated videos or other outputs that are produced ("Generated Content") when you use our Service. This content may include personal information if you choose to include it (for example, images of yourself or others, audio of your voice, etc.).
- Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you access and use the Service. This may include your IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, links clicked, and other usage details. We may also collect timestamps and logs of usage, such as when you log in, generate videos, or encounter errors.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (e.g., web beacons, pixels) to collect information about your interaction with our Service. For example, we use cookies to remember your preferences and settings, authenticate users, and analyze site traffic and usage through services like Google Analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings and other tools; however, disabling cookies may affect certain features of the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for various purposes, including:
- Providing and Improving the Service: We use your information to operate, maintain, and provide you with the features and functionality of Moozix. For example, we use the content you upload to generate videos through our AI models, to save your generated videos, and to enable you to share or download them. We also analyze usage data and feedback to improve our algorithms, develop new features, and enhance the user experience.
- Account Management and Support: We use personal information (like your email) to create and manage your account, authenticate your access, provide customer support, send important updates or notifications related to your account or transactions, and respond to your inquiries.
- Payments and Transactions: If you purchase credits or subscriptions, we use your payment information to process those transactions (through our third-party payment processor). We do not store your full credit card details on our servers; payment information is handled securely by our payment processing partners. We maintain records of your purchases and credit usage for accounting and customer service purposes.
- Communication: We may send you service-related communications (e.g., confirmations of purchases, technical or security notices). We may also send occasional promotional emails or newsletters about new features, updates, or offers, but you will have the option to opt-out of marketing communications.
- Enforcing Terms and Policies: We may use information to monitor for and prevent fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity, to enforce our Terms of Service and usage guidelines (such as detecting misuse of the Service or prohibited content), and to otherwise protect the security and integrity of our platform and users.
- Compliance with Law: We may process your information as required to comply with applicable legal obligations, such as responding to legal process or law enforcement requests.
3. How We Share or Disclose Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share the information we collect in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: We share information with third-party vendors and service providers that perform services on our behalf to support the Service. This includes:
- Hosting and Infrastructure: We use cloud service providers (such as AWS and services in the Laravel ecosystem) to host our application, store data (including your uploaded content and generated videos), and maintain our databases.
- AI Processing: We use third-party AI model providers (for example, the Replicate API) to process your inputs (uploaded images, audio, etc.) and generate the output videos. This means your User Content may be transmitted to and processed by such third-party AI services solely for the purpose of generating your requested content. These providers are authorized to use the data only as necessary to provide services to Moozix, and they are obligated to handle the data in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.
- Analytics: We use Google Analytics (a web analytics service provided by Google) to help us understand how users engage with our website. Google Analytics may set cookies or collect device identifiers to gather information about your site usage. This helps us analyze performance and user behavior on our site. Google Analytics operates independently from Moozix and has its own privacy policy; we do not provide Google with any personally identifiable information like your name or account details through Analytics.
- Payment Processors: If you make purchases, your payment information is processed by third-party payment processors (e.g., credit card companies or payment gateways). These third parties specialize in secure payment processing and have their own privacy and security practices. Moozix does not receive or store your sensitive payment card details (though we may store basic transaction information like the amount and date).
- Other Vendors: We may use other tools or services for functions such as email delivery (e.g., to send verification or notification emails), customer support ticketing, or other operational support. These providers will receive only the information necessary to perform their services and are bound by obligations to protect your data.
- Business Transfers: If Moozix is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or financing, or in the unlikely event of bankruptcy or insolvency, your information may be transferred to a successor or affiliate as part of that transaction. We will endeavor to notify you (for example, via email or a prominent notice on our site) of any change in ownership or use of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your information.
- Legal Requirements and Protection of Rights: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation, such as a subpoena, court order, or other legal process; (ii) protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of Moozix, our users, or others; (iii) investigate or assist in preventing any violation of law or our Terms of Service; or (iv) protect against legal liability.
- With Your Consent: We may share your information for any other purpose disclosed to you and with your consent. For example, if we ever want to use a particular video you created for Moozix marketing or showcase, we would only do so with your explicit permission.
4. Third-Party Services and Links
The Service may integrate with or contain links to third-party websites, services, and applications that are not operated by Moozix (such as social media platforms or external websites you might visit through links). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services. Any information you provide to third parties or that is collected by third parties when you interact with their services is governed by their respective privacy policies. We recommend you review the privacy policies of any third-party service you interact with. Moozix is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of external sites or services.
5. Data Security
Moozix takes reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality and security of your information. We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of the personal data we hold. For example, we use encryption for data in transit (e.g., SSL/TLS to secure the connection between your browser and our servers) and implement access controls to limit who can access your information.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You use the Service and provide us with information at your own risk. In the event of a data breach or security incident, we will notify affected users and/or the appropriate authorities as required by applicable law.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. For example, we may retain:
- Account Information: Your account data (such as your email and profile information) for as long as your account is active. If you choose to delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, although we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., record-keeping and to prevent fraud or abuse).
- Generated Content: Videos or other content you have created using Moozix may be stored on our servers to enable your ongoing access, until you delete them or as otherwise set forth in our Terms of Service (note: if you are not subscribed to a storage plan and exceed free storage limits, we may delete older content as described in the Terms).
- Usage Data: We may retain log files and analytics data for a reasonable period of time after collection, for purposes of internal analysis and improving the Service, as well as for security auditing.
7. Your Rights and Choices
You may have certain rights and choices regarding your personal information, especially if you are located in certain jurisdictions:
- Access and Correction: You can access and update the personal information in your account profile at any time by logging into your account settings. If any personal information we have is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to correct or update it.
- Account Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting us at our support email (see Contact Information below). Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we will delete your personal information (other than information we are permitted or required to retain by law) from our active systems. Note that residual copies may be retained in backups for a limited period, but will be purged according to our backup retention practices.
- Marketing Communications: If you no longer wish to receive promotional emails or newsletters, you can opt out by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in such emails or by adjusting your account preferences. Please note that you cannot opt out of transactional or administrative emails (such as password resets or service notifications) that are important to your use of the Service.
- Do Not Track: Some web browsers offer "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. At this time, Moozix does not respond to DNT signals. However, you can typically manage your cookie preferences as described above (see "Cookies and Similar Technologies").
- International Users: Moozix is based in the United States and the Service is primarily designed for users in the U.S. If you are accessing the Service from outside the U.S., be aware that your information will be transferred to and stored in the U.S. (or other countries where our service providers are located). By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the U.S. and those third countries, which may have data protection laws less stringent than those in your country. We will take steps to ensure that your data is subject to appropriate safeguards where required by law (for example, use of standard contractual clauses for data transfers from the EEA).
- EU/EEA and UK Individuals: If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you have certain legal rights under the GDPR (or UK GDPR) regarding your personal data, such as the right to request access to the information we hold about you, to request correction or deletion of your personal data, to restrict or object to our processing of your data, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, please contact us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
- California Residents: If you are a California resident, you may have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or other state laws, such as the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose about you, and the right to request that we delete personal information (subject to certain exceptions). Moozix does not sell personal information to third parties for monetary value. To exercise your rights, you can contact us as described below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. If you are under 18, you are not permitted to use the Service or provide any personal information to Moozix. If we learn that we have collected personal information from an individual under 18, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as possible. If you believe we might have any information from or about a minor under 18, please contact us immediately.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of this policy, and in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our website or sending you an email notification). We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices.
