Troubleshooting

A session is queued or balancing for too long

Understand the processing states, what can keep mastering unavailable and what to do about a stuck job.

In this guide
  1. Read the current status
  2. Let one request finish
  3. If mastering stays unavailable
  4. Recover from a failed master

Read the current status #

Uploading sends your files to storage. Preparing creates processable audio, waveforms and previews. Mixing processes stems. Balancing mix evaluates those parts together. Mastering creates the final combined result.

A queued item is waiting for processing capacity or another operation in the session to finish. Mixing and mastering controls can be unavailable while a conflicting job is active.

Let one request finish #

  1. Check the visible task status or mastering progress window.
  2. Avoid repeatedly pressing the action while it is submitting or queued.
  3. Wait for the current upload or operation to finish before retrying another action.
  4. You may close the mastering window while its server job continues; do not interrupt an unfinished file upload.

Processing time varies with song length, stem count, settings and queue load. There is no fixed seconds-per-song guarantee.

If mastering stays unavailable #

Check for a failed/preparing stem, muted-only session, an unsaved setting, or a mix pass still required. Complete Remix Changed if the session asks for it. The main workflow strip explains the next usable action.

After uploads are finished, reopening the session can refresh its saved status. If a job remains unchanged for an unusually long time, contact support with the session link and exact status rather than deleting the song to make it disappear.

Recover from a failed master #

The result window offers Retry mastering when a render fails. Read the error first. Your saved stems/settings can often be reused without re-uploading.

If the error reports remote upload failure or a worker problem, repeated clicks will not fix the underlying service issue. Send the error and session link to support. Do not buy another download pack to try to repair processing.
